Just What I Needed

I'm still reeling a bit from the results of last week's election.
It did not turn out the way I expected or hoped.
I'm very concerned about the license to hate that seems to have been granted
with the election of this man.
I was so upset, still am, to a certain extent.
But making stuff is what I needed to do...put this energy into creating.
It feeds my soul on a regular basis, so why not now in a time of crisis?
I made postcards; I made jewelry; I made dinner.
I took solace in the process, happiness from the fruits my labor, and spread love this way.

This time, I really did send my love out into the world with these cards.
Here's to another (timely!) iHanna DIY Postcard Swap!

Thank you for visiting!
I'm looking forward to getting some love in the mail myself!
XO,
Sarah

  4. I'm wondering what you feel about the hate that has been pushed towards "this man" as you call him. Considering that he Just survived an assassination attempt. I wonder what you would feel about the people telling him that if he's to become president he will be taken out or the celebrities telling Joe Biden to quote it's your duty to take him out meaning to have him killed. Also I'm really sick and tired of the : I'm about to have a personal breakdown because he won, get over yourself you're perfectly fine so is this country, Stop trying to turn it into a reason you get to become a victim. Funny how it's all about empowerment unless it's it's time to play the victim card huh. Grow up. If you can't handle a simple election result then I question how you have been able to make it through life at all sweetheart.
